Congratulations to our latest Lasting Difference Symbol holders, Future Pathways, a national service who support people who experienced childhood abuse or neglect in Scotland. The team have put sustainability at the heart of what they do, creating a quality assurance framework based on the principles and approach of the Lasting Difference toolkit. The Quality Framework process supports regular reflection and learning for the team.
We facilitated a leadership development programme for Future Pathways during 20/21 which drew on the theory, tools and techniques from both the Lasting Difference and Lasting Leadership guides. The team completed the Lasting Difference self-assessment to inform the programme development and focused on areas such as
• Organisation structure and culture
• Planning and emergence
• Stakeholders
• Influencing strategies
They also explored managing capacity and their discussions contributed to the development of our Guide to Managing Capacity.
Alliance Manager Flora Henderson said,
“Within Future Pathways we constantly reflect on difference made and impact. Sustainability is very much an ongoing journey for us.”
As an organisation they look to provide a sustained impact to those they support; develop sustainable partnerships and generate a legacy of learning for future services.
We’re delighted them to welcome them to our growing network of Symbol holders who are proud to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
